  1. What is Crown Business Direct? - Crown Business Direct is our corporate cash management solution. With a click of the mouse, you can perform the following banking transactions from the comfort of your home, or from anywhere you have access to the Internet:
    • Review account balances and transaction history.
    • Transfer funds between Crown Bank accounts.
    • Retrieve and print account histories.
    • Place and review stop payments.
    • Export personal financial information into popular financial programs such as Intuit
    • QuickBooks or Microsoft Money.
  1. Is Crown Business Direct available 24 hours a day, seven days a week? - Yes; Crown Business Direct is available to you during the hours as indicated in your contract, with the exception of scheduled maintenance and outages as a result of circumstances beyond the control of Crown Bank.

    Please note: Transfers made before 8:00 p.m. will be posted on the same business day. Transfers made after 8:00 p.m. will be posted on the following business day.
  2. What type of accounts are available with Crown Business Direct? - With Crown Business Direct, you have access to any of your Crown Bank accounts, including Checking, Savings, Certificates of Deposits, Lines of Credit, and Business and Commercial Loans.
  3. How current is the financial information? - Your available checking and savings account information is real time and will reflect any activity throughout the day.
  4. Can I access Crown Business Direct while away from the office? - You have access to Crown Business Direct from any computer with Internet access that meets recommended system requirements.
  5. What are the System Requirements for Crown Business Direct? - You can access Crown Business Direct with virtually any computer using Windows. Other than your computer, you need only a bank account, Access ID (provided to you by Crown Bank), a Password and Internet Access using Microsoftâ Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater (with 128 bit integration).
  6. Is my financial information safe with Crown Business Direct? - In addition to traditional firewall security and customer-level passwording, Crown Business Direct supports the latest in Internet browser technology—128-bit encryption. During the encryption process, information is scrambled as it is transmitted to prevent unauthorized individuals from reading it. The information is then unscrambled or “decrypted” as it is received. This protects your personal financial information as it is transmitted both to and from Crown Bank.
  7. How do I sign up for Crown Business Direct? - You will need to call or visit your local branch office.
  8. How do I log in to Crown Business Direct for the first time? - You can access Crown Business Direct from the Crown Bank webpage (www.crownbank.net) by locating the Crown Business Direct Log In box. Type your Access ID and Password (assigned to you from Crown Bank) and click the GO button. On the following page, type your New Password as desired. Type your New Password again to confirm it is correct, and then press ENTER or click the SUBMIT button. The “Welcome” page will be displayed upon successful completion of the First Time Log In sequence.
  9. What should I do if I forget my password? - For security purposes, you will need to call our Operations Office at 732-451-9000 during normal business hours.
  10. How do I change my password? - For security purposes, we require that you change your initial password immediately during the First Time Users Log In. As an additional measure, we suggest you change your password periodically thereafter. Changing your password is very simple from anywhere within Crown Business Direct.

    Click on the Change Password button at the top of your Crown Business Direct screen. The “Change Password” page will appear. Type your Current Password and New Password in the boxes provided. In the Confirm New Password box, retype your New Password to confirm that your entry is correct. Click on the Submit button. Your change is recorded and takes effect immediately.
  11. Does my password expire? - No, your password does not expire, but we strongly recommend that your change your password on a periodical basis.
  12. How do I add additional accounts to Crown Business Direct? - You will need to contact your local branch office. An addendum to your Crown Business Direct Program Agreement will need to be revised.
  13. What kind of detailed information can I review and transact? - The level of account detail and transaction types available is determined by account type, as illustrated in the following chart:
    For example, you may:
    • Place stop payments from your Checking Account, but not from your Savings Account.
    • Transfer funds to and from your Savings Account, but not from your CD account.

How do I export transactions into financial software such as Intuit’s QuickBooks or Microsoft Money? - Exporting transaction information for use with your business finance software,such as Intuit’s Quickbooks or Microsoft Money, can be accomplished by selecting the desired account number from the Accounts drop-down menu. Then select Transaction Menu from the Transactions drop-down menu. Enter the desired information into Transaction Search area. From the Export Format drop-down list box, select the appropriate file type from the following list:
    • Comma Separated File (.CSV)
    • Intuit Quicken (.QIF)
    • Microsoft Money (.OFX)
    • Intuit Quickbooks (.IIF)

Finally, click the Export button to complete the process.
  1. How do I correct a future dated transfer that I entered incorrectly? - You will need to call our Operations Office at 732-451-9000 during normal business hours.
  2. What kind of loan payments can I make through Crown Business Direct? - You can make various types of payments to your loan in Crown Business Direct, including regular (principle and interest that is currently due), principal only, and interest only.
  3. How can I verify that the stop payment I entered was processed? - You can verify the stop payment was processed by selecting Stop Payment Menu from the Stop Payment drop-down menu. The stop payment will be listed in the “Approved Stop Payments” section along with the assigned expiration date.
  4. How do I correct a stop payment that I entered incorrectly or one that is no longer needed? - You will need to call our Operations Office at 732-451-9000 during normal business hours.
  5. Is there online help available? - Yes, should you require additional assistance, Online Help is your best solution. It’s convenient, simple to understand, and structured in a format that enables you to find the information you need quickly. Help is available upon a successful Log In to Crown Business Direct by clicking 0nline Help at the top of your Crown Business Direct page. It is content-sensitive Help, which means depending on the screen you select Help from, it will open the Help window with the specific topic related to that screen. Help is divided into three parts, Contents, Index and Search.
    Contents offers seven chapters covering general Online Banking topics:

    • Funds Management
    • File Management
